"buying Nintendo Wii online at eBay may give you the best opportunity to get a good deal"
Here are 5 tips you can use when shopping at online at EBay:
- Click here to register with EBay. It's free and there are many helpful buyers resources you can take advantage of IF you're a registered EBay buyer. Verify your account and register for a free PayPal account;
- Next, use EBay's advanced search tool bar to locate and track Nintendo Wii bundle or console auctions. Be sure to save the search results in My eBay - anytime there are new auction listings for what you want to buy, you'll receive updates via e-mail;
- Before you buy any item listed on eBay, completely read the entire listing to be sure you know what you're bidding on or buying - If you have any questions about the listing, contact the seller;
- Check out the seller's Feedback score and carefully note the number of transactions, the percentage of positive and negative feedback and note the actual comments from other buyers about the seller. The seller doesn't have to have a perfect feedback score, but a Feedback rating of 98 percent is the lowest you should consider doing business with; and
- Bid and buy items where the seller accepts PayPal or credit cards- these are the safest payment methods for you (just in case you're wondering, your credit card or banking information is totally secure when you pay for items using PayPal);
- track auctions that have at least 4 days remaining before the listing expires and that have a Buy It Now or Best Offer option; and
- use your time to do research recently completed auction listings for the Nintendo Wii you want - what you're looking for are the prices paid in auctions where the Wii was sold (they're in green). This will help you determine if the Buy It Now price is fair and if the seller is willing to accept a Best Offer, you'll have a good idea of how much to offer to win the auction. It will also help you avoid getting into a bidding frenzy with other bidders.
